Thanks to my excellent teachers at MHS, Mr. Larson, Mr. Jones and Mr. Plein, I have gained an immense amount of experience throughout the past few years.  I began to learn basics in Mr. Plein´s video production, learning about the different types of shots, and the way the cameras work.  After completing that course with an “A” average, I then realized that this field was something that interested me.  So the main broadcast journalism teacher, Mr. Larson, told me about this class.  I have now completed 2 full years of this course involving on scene video recording, script writing, studio production and team working activities.  As well as, I have partaken in multiple studio experience opportunities by recording events at the school, such as football games, talent shows and even beauty pageants.  As far as community service, I have been involved, for multiple years, with the rebuilding together program, and improving the community in any way that I can. Also I am a member of the National Honor Society at Manchester High School, which gives me the opportunity to help the community even more.   As far as academics, I am an A average student with a GPA of around 4.0 and am attempting to revolve classes around this field of study. As well as broadcast journalism, I am also a member of the cross country team, and both the indoor and outdoor track and field team.
