FBLA Story: 9-25-16  (8:23)

This was my first production I ever created for this class.  Alongside my partner Shakeem Williams, we dug deep into one of the clubs at mhs and got different point of views from important members of the club.   Once we wrote our script, edited and revised it, we published it for The Pulse.

Latest Projects

MHS Swimming 10-9-16  (7:00):

Although there was a mix up with who was reporting the story, I stayed behind the camera and let my partner jason owens Report.  However, I took part in all of the script writing,  getting footage, and interviews as well as learning more about the story.

THE PULSE 2015-2016

Here, youll find a list of most of the projects that I have either taken part in, Reported on, or worked on inorder to show my progress throughout the year.  These are only a few of them, however, my full career ges farther than this.

Hoco 10-23-16  (start):

This was a tough story for me.  I tried to look for a deeper story within the story that was created, but didn't have any idea where to start.  I, along with my partner Dominique, went to all of the events to get footage and interviews regarding the topic.  Script writing was done according to what actually happened as well as putting the perspectives of others in.

Power news  11-6-16  (3:00):

This story was an interesting one to do as it looks inside of our own production class and shows what is becoming new about it.  As well as, it is also a way to promote the new feature for the rest of the school.  I reported on this one and it's purpose was fulfilled in my opinion.

Turkey Bowl 12-4-16 (9:00):

I was the reporter for this manchester tradition.  So for this production, I had to go to the event, get video of the game, crowd and players, and interviews to help enhance the feeling of being there.  This was more of a recap production rather than a play by play.

Christmas tree lighting  12-11-16  (8:00):

Every year there is an annual tree lighting on main street, and there is a lot of history there. So this story is more of a closer look onto this event and showed a lot of POV’s. I however was not the reporter but worked behind the scenes to make sure that this story came out exactly the way we wanted it to.

Kahoot 2-26-16  (3:00):

MHS Codes are a unique part of the pulse.  It shows a bunch of perspectives instead of just covering one event.  For this one, I had to get teachers that use the program and get their insight on it.  I reported as well, and it was difficult for me to find a good place to do the Stand up, however, the information was done correctly.

DC 3-4-16  (6:40):

This special Illing themed production was difficult because we had to go over to illing and film, but also there was not a lot of broll to get, so we had to pull it from past experiences.  I reported, so I was able to get a good production made by using resources and finding others who would benefit me.

Little shop 3-24-16  (4:00):

After going to 3 of the productions to get all of the b-roll and he interviews that i needed, it wasn't difficult for me to remember everything that occurred.  So when I got everything together, I was able to quickly write a quality script.  I reported and took part in editing.

Science Fair 4-28-16  (1:00):

I enjoyed doing this story because it helped me look at what a production is and what it needs to be quality.  Reporting on this story helped me write the script by becoming deeper involved into the story.  The script was written beforehand and we followed as we went.

Pep Rally 6-3-16  (7:16):

I was very happy with how this story came out.  It was more of a highlight of the pep rally, and because there were so many things that took place, I thought that it never disappointed, nor did I ever lose interest.  I was the reported and i felt as if being on the scene, it made the production more reliable.

Phil story 5-27-16  (2:30):

This story was mainly done during a track meet.  I was in charge of getting broll and interviews, but it was difficult as I was a part of the track meet as well.  However, I took part in writing the script and editing a little.  However my partner Kailey Feshler was very helpful part in making this story what it became to be.
